Mr. Victor M. Pacheco, 58, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 in the University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, New Jersey, on Saturday, September 10^th. from 8:00AM to 10:45AM.  A funeral prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 10:45AM, followed by the entombment in the family crypt in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, New Jersey.

Mr. Pacheco, the son of the late Esther Araoz Pacheco and the late Daniel Pacheco, was born in Lima, Peru.  He came to the United States in 1974 and lived in Rahway, New Jersey before moving to Elizabeth, New Jersey twenty-five years ago.

Mr. Pacheco was a self-employed truck driver for five years before working in the warehouse division of Joshen Paper & Packaging in Edison, New Jersey.  He stopped working six months ago, due to illness.

Mr. Pacheco is survived by his son, Matthew A. Pacheco; his brothers and sisters, Caesar Escobedo, Irma Zegarra, Manuel Valberde Pacheco, Daniel E. Pacheco, Raul Pacheco, Rosa Pacheco, Jorge Pacheco and Julio Pacheco; his former wife, Leonor McCain and his many nieces and nephews.
