Mr. Edward Z. Cubala, 71, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, New Jersey.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Wednesday, December 14^th. from 2:00 - 4:00PM and 6:00 - 9:00PM.  On Thursday, December 15^th.  at 8:30AM, family and friends are ask to gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 9:00AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in St. Theresa R.C. Church, Linden at 10:00AM.  Entombment will take place in the family crypt in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.

Mr. Cubala, the son of the late Helen and the late Boguslaw Cubala, was born in Stuttgart, Germany.  He came to the United States in 1958 and lived in Elizabeth, New Jersey before moving to Linden, New Jersey in 1967.

Mr. Cubala was employed by the City of Linden in the Department of Public Works, as a heavy equipment operator for over twenty-five years before he retired in 2010.

Mr. Cubala is survived by his wife of  forty-seven years, Helen B. Wrona Cubala; his sons, John Cubala, Brian Cubala and Robert Cubala; his daughter, Stefanie Cubala and his four grandchildren, Laura Cubala, Shane Cubala, Brielle Cubala and Joshua Cubala.
