Mrs. Barbara A. Chincharick Solas, 74, died Monday, December 25, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family.

Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Friday, December 29^th. from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00PM.  On Saturday, December 30^th. at 7:15AM, family and friends are asked to gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 7:45AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in St. John Vianney R.C. Church, Colonia at 9:00AM.  Entombment will take place in the family crypt in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.

Mrs. Solas, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Witkoski Chincharick and the late David Chincharick was born in Ginter, Pennsylvania.  She resided there until moving to Rahway in 1965.

Mrs. Solas is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Robert D. Solas; her three children, Steven Solas and his wife, Lisa, Dr. John Solas and Mrs. Cynthia Pica and her husband, Angel; her two sisters, Constance Smeal and Denise Talty and her two grandchildren, Steven Lee Solas and Lia Pica.
