Vic Nigro
Mr. Vic Nigro, 60, died Monday, September 3, 2018 in his home in Linden, New Jersey.
Visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Friday, September 7th. from 3:00 – 7:00PM. On Saturday, September 8th. at 8:30AM, family and friends are asked to gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 9:00AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in St. Theresa R.C. Church, Linden at 10:00AM. Burial will take place in the family plot in Rosedale Cemetery in Linden. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Vic’s memory to a charity of your choice.
Vic, the son of the late Madge M. Dobosiewicz Nigro (1994) and the late Anthony C. Nigro (2005) was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He resided there until 1964, when his family moved to Linden, New Jersey.
Vic has been involved in the disposal industry for thirty five years and he was currently employed as a dispatcher for Republic Services in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Over the past years, Vic had been very active in the St. Theresa Church community in Linden. He was an usher and played the guitar during the 9:00AM Sunday mass and he even assisted at the Bingo games. As for sports, Vic was most definitely a Mets Fan!
Vic is survived by his daughter, Amy N. Colineri and her husband, John; his son, Matthew Nigro; his brother, Nicholas Nigro and his wife, Judith; his two granddaughters, Addison Colineri and Ava Colineri and his step-mother, Eleanor Nigro.
