Pavol Dancevsky

Mr. Pavol Dancevsky, of Rahway, New Jersey at the young age of 49, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, peacefully at his home.

On Monday, January 4, 2021, family, and friends are invited to gather in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden for a visitation from 6:00PM to 9:00PM. During the visitation, there will be a prayer service in the funeral home, conducted by the clergy at 8:00PM. In respect to Mr. Dancevsky’s wishes, the cremation will be private.

Mr. Dancevsky, the son of the late Serafina Juskova Dancevsky and the late Pavol Dancevsky,was born in Michalovce, Czechoslovakia on June 4, 1971.  Pavol immigrated to the Unites States in 1998 and initially lived in Linden, New Jersey.  He then settled in Rahway, New Jersey where he remained the rest of his life.

Pavol was employed as a truck driver for S. Bertram Foods in Linden, New Jersey for many years. One of his great attributes was being a skilled mechanic and he was always generous in helping people with their various car problems. Pavol was a caring man and he will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Pavol is survived by his sister Beata Dankova and her husband Peter; his two nieces Veronika Dankova and Lenka Dankova and his many extended family members, friends, and co-workers.

As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of 100 persons allowed in the funeral home at one time.  All members of the public who wish to attend the visitation are required to wear a mask and socially distance when paying their respects to the Dancevsky family. To accommodate all visiting family and friends, we ask that you please be brief while visiting to make room for additional guests to pay their respects. We appreciate your understanding during this time of transition.
