It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Michelle Smolarski: a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, girlfriend, and friend who was called home by God on January 5th, 2023.
She is predeceased by many loved ones who will greet her in Heaven with open arms. Michelle is survived by her loving mother Margaret Smolarski, as well as her siblings, Cindy and Robert, her two nieces, Sabrina and Samantha, her nephew, Deegan and her boyfriend, John. She will be greatly missed by her devoted aunts and uncles, many cherished cousins, and dear friends,
Michelle was a lifelong resident of New Jersey and she found a passion for sports early in life. She was one of the first females to play in the Greater Woodbridge all-boys soccer league – since leagues for girls did not yet exist. Michelle was a revered member of the varsity soccer team of Kennedy Memorial High School. She went on to attend Middlesex County College on an athletic scholarship. She continued to enjoy athletics and excelled at every new sport she tried. Michelle loved the outdoors and found peace in nature, especially when engaging in her favorite hobby; fishing.
Michelle will be remembered for her tremendous sense of humor, kind heart and incredible strength.
