Michael, the son of the late Carolyn Catanzaro Pileggi and the late Michael Pileggi, Sr. was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey.  He was raised and went to school in Linden, New Jersey, where he lived until his early to mid twenty’s.  Michael then moved Edison, New Jersey for a number of years, before settling in Milford, New Jersey about twenty years ago.

Michael worked for Billows Electric Supply in Flemington, New Jersey for several years, as an employee wearing many hats, whether it be clerking at the front desk, warehouse control or even delivering supplies.

Michael was an avid woodworker for most of his life.  He had a full workshop in the basement of his home and he was able to design and make anything out of wood, from the smallest of objects to large pieces of furniture.  Michael’s other love was music, specifically that of the heavy metal genre, enjoying favorites such as Black Sabbath.  It’s no wonder that he started played the electric guitar as a youth and became very proficient at it.

Michael is survived by his brother, Robert Pileggi and his wife, Farrah; his sister, Joanne Callahan and her husband, Scott; his nephew, Nick Pileggi; his niece, Victoria Pileggi; his uncles, Joseph Catanzaro and Ralph Pileggi and his aunt, Lynn Catanzaro.
