Maryann, the daughter of the late Mildred E. Fornadel Gergich (1993) and the late Charles J. Gergich (2011), was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she resided until settling in Linden, New Jersey in 1978.
Maryann was a legal secretary for the Law Office of Jeffrey J. Chornoboy in Linden, New Jersey, where she has been employed for over twenty years.
She was a member of the Rahway Women’s Club. Maryann was also very active in the activities at St. John the Apostle Grammar School in Linden, where her two grandsons attend school. She especially enjoyed being a lunch aide. Maryann’s home was the social hub for gatherings and she loved to throw parties, especially BBQ’s. She also derived great joy from crocheting baby blankets, to the point that her husband, Mike said that he thinks every baby in Rahway was a recipient of her generosity. Although Maryann did not like travel, her bags would be packed at the mere mention of Disney.
Maryann is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Michael J. Noon; her son, Michael Noon; her brother, Charles G. Gergich and his wife, Brenda; her two sisters, Regina Ford and her husband, Jeffery and Kathleen Gergich; her two grandsons, Benjamin Noon and Ethan Noon and her numerous loving nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and cousins.
