Mrs. Kosciow, the daughter of the late Stanislawa and Boleslaw Czarnecki, was born in Troszyn, Poland. Mrs. Kosciow immediately settled in Linden, New Jersey, where she resided until the time of her death.
Mrs. Kosciow was a devoted communicant of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church in Linden. Throughout her life, Mrs. Kosciow had many interests that showed how talented she was. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and cooking and up until two months ago Mrs. Kosciow was making beautiful blankets that she would give away to family and friends. Her sewing expertise was demonstrated in her ability to design and make her own clothes, which were always stylish and elegant. Mrs. Kosciow loved to sing and dance, which was her favorite activity with her late husband, Walter. Gardening and flowers brought her a great inner peace and joy. She never had a favorite color or type of flower, as she embraced them all. Even with all of this, there is no doubt, that the greatest part of Mrs. Kosciow’s life were her grandchildren; she simply adored them all!
