Lech Edward Debowski

Mr. Lech Edward Debowski, 68, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in his home in Garfield, New Jersey.  Lech, the son of the late Julia Dzupino Debowski and the late Stanislaw Debowski, was born in Southampton, England.  He came to the United States during the late 1950’s and he lived in a few cities in New Jersey before settling in Garfield, New Jersey.

Mr. Debowski was employed as a counter and stock clerk, as well as, a delivery person for Empire Auto Parts in Totowa, New Jersey for over ten years before he retired a year ago.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Debowski was also predeceased by his brother, Chester.

Surviving are his two cousins, Ted Debowski and Hanna Hermanowski and her husband, Joseph.

In respect of Mr. Debowski’s wishes, his cremation in Rosehill Crematory in Linden, New Jersey and the graveside service and burial of his cremains in the family plot in Lawncroft Cemetery in Fairfield, Connecticut, will be private for the family only.
