Mr. John “Rocky” Damiano, 55, died unexpectedly on Monday, March 13, 2023.
We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Thursday, March 23rd. from 3:00-7:00PM. The burial in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield will be private.
John was born in the Bronx, New York City, New York and he lived in California for over twenty years before settling in Anderson, South Carolina two years ago.
He was the Director of Warehousing & Distribution for TTI Consumer Power Tools in Wellford, South Carolina. John had a very intense work ethic and was a dependable and trustworthy member of the company’s team. His co-workers affectionately called him “Rocky” and they all appreciated him for his leadership but also for his friendship.
In his spare time, John enjoyed fishing with his son and like most guys, loved sports, especially his fantasy baseball.
Predeceased by his sister, Annmarie Damiano in 2005, John is survived by his mother, Joan Damiano; his son, David Damiano; his two sisters, Nancy Dougherty and her husband, Larry and Jennifer Vella and her husband, Ryan; his nieces and nephews, Gina, Larry Jr., Rachel and Ryan; his great nephew, Christian and his friends, co-workers and neighbors.
John was always viewed as a pillar of strength for his family and he had an abundance of love for everyone in his circle. Our hearts are broken with the loss of John, and he will be deeply missed, but John’s spirit will always be with us.
