Mr. Jason Seabra Ramos, 25, died Friday, July 23, 2021 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at New Brunswick, New Jersey
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Thursday, July 29th. from 6:00-8:00PM. On Friday, between 8:40AM – 8:55AM, everyone will start to gather directly at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Elizabeth. Family and friends should park in the large parking lot directly behind the church. After the mass, the prayers of committal will precede Jason’s burial in the family plot in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
Jason, the son of Fernanda Seabra Ramos and Alvaro Ramos, was born in Livingston, New Jersey. He was raised in Newark, New Jersey and he lived in Carteret, New Jersey for twelve years prior to moving to Rahway, New Jersey three years ago.
Jason was an inventory specialist for East Coast Warehouse in Elizabeth for the past one and a half years.
In his spare time, Jason was all about sports; everything and anything that had to do with sports. He loved it so much that Jason wanted to go to school to become an on-air sportscaster. Even though he watched it all, Jason’s favorite sport was soccer, and he followed the professional team F.C. Porto religiously. All his family knew that Jason’s dream job would have been to be a professional goalie. For his personal entertainment, Jason loved to watch movies, especially his highly favored
“Goodfellas” from 1990, directed by Martin Scorscese and on the television, he enjoyed the classic show “Seinfeld”. Musically, his leaning were toward the Doo Wop genre and his most loved song was ‘Stayin’ Alive’ by the Bee Gees. Jason was always active, coming, going and doing. He made sure to fill his life and its activities to the fullest.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Antonio Gouveia Seabra (1993) and his uncle, Paulo J.C, Seabra (2020). In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his brother, Steven Ramos and his wife, Katherine Garcia Ramos; his maternal grandmother, Maria Fernanda Correia Seabra; his paternal grandmother, Maria Amelia Margarido; his paternal grandfather, Jorge Ramos Margarido; his maternal aunts and uncles, Jose Seabra and his wife, Maria Elena Nunez Calo Seabra, Ana Seabra Pereira and her husband, Antonio Pereira and Antonio Seabra; his paternal aunt and uncle, Maria Candida DaSilva and her husband, Fernando Lopes and Pedro Alexandre Ramos and his wife, Catiana Ferreira-Ramos; his cousins, Sara Seabra, Anthony Pereira, Ashley Pereira, Davide Ramos DaSilva and Rui Jorge Ramos; his nephew, Sebastian Antonio Ramos; his niece, Katalina Nicole Ramos; his co-workers and his friends..
