Mrs. Dolores Vecino Solsky, 90, died Thursday, March 10, 2022, in her home in Cutler Bay, Florida.
On Thursday, May 5th. at 12:30PM, family and friends will gather in the parking lot of Rosedale Cemetery at 355 East Linden Avenue in Linden. We will then form the traditional funeral procession to continue to the gravesite where the prayers of committal will be offered prior to Mrs. Solsky’s burial of her cremains in the family plot.
Mrs. Solsky, the daughter of the late Justa Suarez Vecino and the late Apolinar Vecino, was born in Orense Spain and she came to the United States in 1961. Mrs. Solsky resided in Newark for a time, followed by her eighteen years in Rahway, both in New Jersey. Mrs. Solsky then relocated to the Miami-Dade area of Florida, where she lived until the time of her death.
While living in New Jersey, Mrs. Solsky was the first Spaniard woman president of the Club Espana in Newark, New Jersey. She held other past officer titles in the organization and is currently an honorary member.
Predeceased by her two husbands, Rafael Gonzalez and Edward C. Solsky, Mrs. Solsky is survived by her granddaughter, Dores Gonzalez.
Mrs. Solsky was the center of life for her Florida family and friends, and she had an abundance of love for everyone in his circle. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
