Daniel Tartamella Obituary

Mr. Daniel Tartamella, 51, died Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Daniel, the son of Frances DeRose Tartamella and the late Biagio Tartamella, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and he lived in Linden, New Jersey for most of his life.

Daniel was a heavy machinery operator for the past ten years.  Most recently he was employed in this capacity for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, by Union Local #15 of Long Island, New York.

Daniel had a variety of hobbies that he enjoyed in his free time.  He like camping and fresh water fishing.  He also was interested in the art of photography, dabbling in both color and black & white mediums. 

In addition to his mother, Daniel is survived by his daughter, Courtney Tartamella; his sister, Jackie Kaelin and her husband, Kevin; his brother, Michael Tartamella and his wife, Denise; his niece, Madison Kaelin; his aunt, Vita Tartamella and his former spouse, Yolanda Rehm

Due to the COV-19 federal and state restrictions on public gatherings, all funeral services will be private.  That privacy will also extend to the prayers of committal offered by Father Dennis Kaelin, as well as, Daniel’s burial in the family plot in St. Gertrude’s Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.

Danny’s family is overwhelmed at all your signs of love and support.  At this time, the family is requesting that you please omit sending any flowers.  Instead, a donation in Danny’s memory can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or online at http://www.stjude.org.
