Claire, the daughter of the late Anne Kostick Pilecki and the late Stanislaw Pilecki was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She resided in Linden, New Jersey from 1994 until 2018, when she moved to Woodbridge, New Jersey.
Claire was a data entry operator for the Union County Probation Office for sixteen years and she retired in 2003.
Everyone that knew Claire was aware of her two major attributes. Claire was a fiercely independent lady, who liked to do things in her own way and in her own time. The other was that Claire was Catholic to the core and had a deep and long lasting relationship with her faith and her God. Claire was a member of the Altar/Rosary Society, as well as, a member of the Parish Council, both of the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church in Linden, New Jersey. She loved to devote her time and energies to going on religious pilgrimages. Claire engaged in over twenty-two pilgrimages where she has traveled all over the world to various places, including the Holy Land, Medjugorje, and Guadalupe.
In addition to her parents, Claire was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Pilecki.
She is survived by the Chrobak Family, the Sisters at St. Joseph’s, friends, and neighbors. Claire was one of a kind and we will all miss her!
As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of one hundred and fifty people allowed in the funeral home and the church at one time and face protection is suggested. We thank you for your understanding during this time of transition.
