Mr. Charles L. Neal, 60, of Irvington, NJ, passed away peacefully at Alaris Nursing Home in Irvington, NJ on December 26th 2021 after a long fight with various health ailments.
Mr. Neal, son of Betty Neal and the late Charles L. Neal Sr, was born on January 26, 1961 in Richmond, Indiana.
Charles was known for his love of animals, of which dogs where his favorite, and enjoyed a vast variety of music. Charles had several hobbies, including fishing and cooking. He was also a fan of the martial arts. He utilized his black belt abilities to train and mentor the local youth as a way of incorporating discipline and recreation in their lives. Charles was especially known for his fashion sense. He was always a very sharp dresser and pursued his love for men’s fashion by working in retail as a sales associate.
Charles is predeceased by his late grandparents Christella Kelley, Woodrow Kelley Sr., Juanita and Earlie Satterfield, his late father Charles L. Neal Sr., his uncle Woodrow, and aunts Shelby and Margaret.
Mr. Charles Neal is survived by his loving mother Betty Neal, his sister Michealle Neal-Aleman and husband Roberto, nephew Roberto “Robby” Aleman Jr, niece Madison Aleman, his aunts Mary and Joyce, and Jean, his uncle Alvin and many other extended family and friends.
Although Charles was taken suddenly from our lives, he will always remain in our hearts, minds and our prayers.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden, NJ, 07036. In respect of Charles’ wishes, his cremation will be private.
