Blanca Sofia Rodriguez

Mrs. Blanca Sofia Rodriguez, 94, died Monday, January 17, 2022, in the The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York. 

Mrs. Rodriguez, the daughter of the late Delfina Fernandez Osorio and the late Pacifico Osorio, was born in Pacho, Cundinamarca, Colombia.  She came to the United States in 1969 and she has resided in Brooklyn, New York for the past forty-five years.

Mrs. Rodriguez was employed for twenty years by a clothing manufacturing factory in New York before she retired in 1975.

For relaxation, Mrs. Rodriguez enjoyed watching Sabado Gigante, a television show that was known for its mixture of various contests, human interest stories and live entertainment. 

Predeceased by her husband, Luis Eduardo Rodriguez, Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her daughter, Maria Szigethy; her son, Camilo Rodriguez; her ten grandchildren and her ten great grandchildren,

The most important part of Mrs. Rodriguez’s life was any minute, hour or day that she got to spend time with the family that she loved so much.  She was its core, it’s center and as such, everyone knows that she will be loved forever, missed like crazy, but never, ever far from their minds and broken hearts.
