Mrs. Pereira was a talented seamstress. She worked for various clothing manufacturing companies throughout Union County for fifteen years and she retired in 1989.
Her hobbies included her amazing handiwork with knitting, but especially in her crocheting. She loved flowers of all kinds, however red roses were most definitely her favorite flower. When someone wanted to give Mrs. Pereira a present, they knew that above everything else, she would be thrilled with the gift of roses. Even with her busy life, Mrs. Pereira’s most important role was that of being a wife and taking care of her family. She was absolutely the “life of the party” and loved to celebrate and dance.
Mrs. Pereira is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Joao M. Pereira; her son, John Pereira and his wife, Ana; her two granddaughters, Ashley Costa and her husband, Antonio and Alexis Pereira and her two great granddaughters, Amberley Costa and Adissyn Costa.
