Jon Phillip Gothard

Mr. Jon Phillip Gothard, 60, died Sunday, April 28, 2019 in his home in Linden, New Jersey.

Jon, known as Phillip to all his friends and co-workers, was the son of Loretta Jo Smith Gothard and the late John Francis Gothard (2001).

He was born in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in Malvern, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from the Malvern Preparatory High School.

Phillip, an ironworker, was employed by the Iron Workers Union Local 377, located in San Francisco, California and as a result of his employment, Phillip travelled and lived all over the country.  He has resided in the Linden, New Jersey for the past three years.

In addition to his mother, Phillip is survived by his son, Jeremy R. Gothard and his brother and sister-in-law, Stephen R. Gothard and his wife, Diane.

In accordance with Phillip’s wishes, his cremation in Rosehill Crematory in Linden, New Jersey was private.
