Bounhieng (Thongdara) Saychaleune

Mrs. Bounhieng Thongdara Saychaleune, 86, died Thursday, August 29, 2019 in the Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, surrounded by the love of her family.

On Saturday, August 31^st. from 9:30AM to 9:40AM, family and friends will gather in the parking lot of the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden, NJ.  We will then go in procession format to Rosehill Cemetery in Linden, NJ, where a graveside service will be offered at 10:00AM by her Pastor from the Brooklyn Community Christian Church, prior to her burial in the family plot.

Mrs. Saychaleune was born in Chao Zhou in the province of Guand Dong in China.  She lived in Laos for twenty-eight years before coming to the United States on July 5, 1980.  Upon her arrival in the United States, Mrs. Saychaleune settled in Brooklyn, New York, where she has lived for the past thirty-nine years.

Mrs. Saychaleune was a seamstress, employed by various factories in New York City, New York for ten years before she retired in 1980.

Predeceased by her husband, Samlane Saychaleune in 1993, Mrs. Saychaleune is survived by her ten children and their spouses, her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, neighbors and friends.
