Mr. William W. Ryan III, 55, died Friday, November 11, 2016 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway, New Jersey.
A memorial visitation will take place in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle St., Linden, on Wednesday, November 16th. from 4:00 – 8:00PM. On Thursday, November 17th. at 10:00AM, family and friends are ask to gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 10:30AM. The burial of his cremains will take place in the family plot in Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. His private cremation at Rosehill Crematory in Linden, took place at an earlier date.
Bill, the son of the late Eleanor S. Kushner Ryan (2009) and William W. Ryan Jr., was born in Rahway, New Jersey and lived his entire life in Clark, New Jersey.
Bill learned his trade as a mechanic as a very young boy, working along his father in the family business, Ryan Automotive in Rahway, New Jersey. Bill, a master mechanic at a very young age, was so proficient in the trade, that even in school, he was able to tutor his teachers about the way that matters were handled in the real world of automotive repair. Bill was even able to show them shortcuts to save time and accomplish a much better job outcome. Bill had over forty years of experience in the automotive repair industry until he became disabled in 2009, thus ending his ability to work.
Locally, Bill was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 328 in Clark, New Jersey.
In addition to being survived by his father, Bill also has two daughters, Valerie Camacho and Dana Ryan; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan D. Russo and her husband, Matthew and Stephanie Walters and her husband, Steve; three grandchildren, Thomas Camacho, Lauren Camacho and Ryan Black; four nephews and one niece, James Reber, Ryan Reber, Mariah Russo, Cody Walters and Justin Walters.
