Victoria Kish Zawislak Pawlowski, 67, died Monday, March 20, 2017 in Sylva, North Carolina.
On Saturday, June 17, 2017, family and friends are asked to gather directly at the family gravesite in the Garden of the Last Supper Section of Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, at 10:45AM. A graveside committal prayer service, offered by Reverend Bryan Wolf, will be held at 11:00AM, followed by the burial of Victoria’s cremains in the family plot.
Victoria was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and grew up in Woodbridge, New Jersey. She also lived in Middletown, New Jersey, where she raised her two daughters, before moving to Sanibel Island in Florida. Victoria spent the remaining years of her life in Bryson City, North Carolina, where her love of nature and the mountains of North Carolina brought her peace and joy.
Predeceased by her father, Julius Kish and her daughter, Melinda Zawislak, Victoria is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christina and Hal Dowdy; her grandson, Aidan Dowdy; her mother, Victoria P. Kish and her two cousins, Veronica Konowicz and Barbara Ferrante.
