Jane B. (Cisek) Pribush

Jane B. Cisek Pribush Mrs. Jane B. Cisek Pribush, 90, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016, surrounded by her loving family, in the Peggy Coloney House at Hope Village, a division of the Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

The cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, was private. On Saturday, August 27th. at 9:45AM, family and friends are asked to gather directly at St. Helen R.C. Church, 1600 Rahway Avenue, Westfield, where a memorial funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM.

Mrs. Pribush was the eighth of thirteen children of the late Joanna Nuszkiewicz Cisek and the late Francis Cisek. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and lived in Jamaica, Queens, New York, before moving to Linden, New Jersey in 1947. Early in her life, Mrs. Pribush was a clerical worker for Pan Am Airlines in New York, followed by her employment as an assembler and packer for Park Plastics in Linden, New Jersey. However the most important aspect of her life was the abundance of love, joy and caring that Mrs. Pribush shared each and every day with her husband and family.

Over the years, her losses included her seven brothers, Edmund Cisek, Aloysius “Ace” Cisek, Raymond Cisek, Julius Cisek, Stanley Cisek, John Cisek and Leon Cisek; her four sisters, Sr. Noel CR, Victoria Vari, Josephine Depowski and Genevieve “Dinky” Czizik and in 1998, her husband, Martin B. Pribush Sr..

Mrs. Pribush is survived by her five sons, Martin B. Pribush Jr. and his wife, Diane, Kenneth Pribush and his wife, Josephine, Mark Pribush and his wife, Tracie, Jeffrey Pribush and his wife Kathy and Bruce Pribush; her brother Robert Cisek; her nine grandchildren and her four great grandchildren. Jane always said “to take care of your animals and remember your local ASPCA, humane societies and shelters.”
