Tadeusz Milkowski

Mr. Tadeusz Milkowski, 64, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the Haven Hospice at the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, New Jersey.

According to Mr. Milkowski’s wishes, his cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden was private. 

Family and friends are invited to the memorial visitation which will be held in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Tuesday, April 13^th. from 6:00-8:00PM.  Because of the cemetery’s indoor chapel requirements, Mr. Milkowski’s inurnment in the family niche in the St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia will be private for the family only.

Mr. Milkowski, the son of the late Jozefa Golubiewska Milkowska and the late Waclaw Milkowski, was born in Siemiatycze, Poland.  He came to the United States on June 12, 2002 and after a few months, he settled in Rahway, New Jersey.

Mr. Milkowski has been employed as an industrial painter for the West Virginia Paint, LLC of Clifton, New Jersey for the past few years.

While living in Poland, Mr. Milkowski was an electrician by trade.  As a result of his expertise in this field, he like to work on and fix everything himself, from working on cars & motorcycles to the smallest job around the house.  It did not matter what had to be fixed, Mr. Milkowski enjoyed figuring out how to accomplish it.  His love for his homeland of Poland, continued to infiltrate his life in the United States.  Mr. Milkowski took great pride in constantly learning about the history of Poland & its’ people.  Coming from a culture in Poland, where people took enjoyment in the countryside, whether it was fishing or even picking mushrooms, Mr. Milkowski found a peacefulness in the parks and forests in this area as well.  He was also known to have a “green thumb” with his ability to grow and cultivate an outstanding vegetable garden.  Of course, Mr. Milkowski could not have a garden without thoroughly enjoying cooking with all those fresh vegetables, making delicious dishes for both his family and friends.  

Mr. Milkowski is survived by his wife of thirty-nine years, Barbara Duniec Milkowska; his four sons, Rafal Milkowski, Lukasz Milkowski and his wife, Karolina, Bernard Milkowski and his wife, Iwona and Hubert Milkowski and his wife, Liliya; his two grandchildren, Mila and Jakub Milkowski and his two sisters; Teresa Ryta Mozejko and Barbara Luba.

As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of one hundred and fifty people allowed in the funeral home and face protection is required.  We thank you for your understanding during this time of transition.
