Stefan Wlodarczyk Obituary

Mr. Stefan Z. Wlodarczyk, 71, entered the arms of the Lord, escorted by His heavenly angels on Monday, July 28, 2025.

We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden, on Friday, August 1st. from 5:00-8:00PM.  On Saturday, August 2nd. from 9:45-10:00AM, everyone will gather at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth, where a funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM.  The prayers of committal will precede Stefan’s burial in the family plot in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Linden, New Jersey.  Please omit flowers.  Donations may be made for Church masses in his memory.

Stefan, the son of the late Genowefa Slomian Wlodarczyk and the late Stefan Wlodarczyk, was born in Siedlisko, Poland.  He came to New Jersey in 1975 where he resided until settling in Buford, Georgia in 1997.

Stefan started his work career in General Motors in Linden, New Jersey and then transferred to the Doraville, Georgia plant.  He took his well-deserved retirement in 2008 after thirty years of service.

Stefan’s free time was spent enjoying the sports world, especially the games of the NFL NY Giants and the MLB NY Yankees.  His faith was very important to him, and it was often his guiding light in life.  Stefan savored being out in Nature and he relished taking walks with his wife of fifty years, Bozena, breathing the fresh, clean air and appreciating all the wonders that Mother Nature had to offer.

Stefan is survived by his loving and devoted family; his wife, Bozena Stokowska Wlodarczyk; his children, Margaret, Stefan III, Sylvia and  her husband, Piotr and Frankie; his five grandchildren, Krystal, Christian, Stefan IV, Madison and Leonardo,; his four great grandchildren, Ophilia, Henry III, Jasper and Gracie Lynn; his two sisters, Teresa Rynczak and Basia Miniach; his two brothers, Zenek Wlodarczyk and his wife, Maria and Andrej Wlodarczyk and his wife, Helen, his numerous nieces and nephews and Stefan’s many friends and neighbors.

Stefan was the center of life for his family, and he had an abundance of love for everyone in his circle.  As a shining light in his family that has dimmed, we offer our prayers that Stefan is now with his Lord.  He will be deeply missed, but Stefan will never be forgotten.  May Stefan rest in Eternal Peace.
