Ryszard Kowalczyk

Mr. Ryszard Kowalczyk, 85, entered the heavenly kingdom of the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2024.

We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time. 

Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Tuesday, January 23rd. from 5:00-7:00PM.  On Wednesday, January 24th. at 9:45AM,

everyone will gather directly at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Linden where the funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM.  The prayers of the committal will precede Ryszard’s burial in the family plot in Rosehill Cemetery in Linden.

Ryszard, the son of the late Rozalia Usnarska Kowalczyk and the late Tadeusz Kowalczyk, was born in Warsaw, Poland.  He came to the United States in 1985, residing in Linden, New Jersey before settling in Rahway, New Jersey in 1997.

Ryszard was employed as a factory worker for over thirty years, until his retirement in 2004.

Ryszard is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Kowalczyk; his former wife, Elzbieta Z. Kowalczyk-Pielach and his many neighbors and friends.

Ryszard was a man of many talents and he had a unique personality.  He will be deeply missed, but Ryszard will never be forgotten.  May he rest in eternal peace.
