Mr. Russell “Rusty” Theodore Schultz, 65, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in his home in Linden, New Jersey.
Family and friends are invited to the memorial visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Sunday, November 14th. from 1:00-4:00PM. In respect of Rusty’s wishes, his cremation in Rosehill Crematory in Linden was private.

Rusty was the son of Helen P. Latawiec Schultz Duchlinski and the late Theodore J. Schultz (1958). Aside from being born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Rusty lived his entire life in Linden, New Jersey and in fact grew up and remained in the same house where his grandmother once lived.
Rusty was a union carpenter for thirty-seven years and he was employed on different job sites throughout New York City, New York State, as well as New Jersey before he retired on November 25, 2011.
In his spare time, Rusty kept busy with a variety of interests. He enjoyed playing the guitar, riding his bike all around Linden, discussing the Bible and reading.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his stepfather, Victor J. Duchlinski in 2003.
Rusty is survived by his mother, Helen P. Duchlinski; his brother, Richard Schultz and his wife, Frances; his sister, Dianne H. Tyrkala and her husband, Walter; his stepbrother, Thomas Duchlinski and his wife Carolyn and a host of cousins, friends, and neighbors.
Rusty, a fixture of the Roselle Street neighborhood, will be missed by all, but never forgotten.
