Robert E. Skae

Mr. Robert “Bob” E. Skae, 74, died Sunday, December 1, 2019 in the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Rahway, New Jersey.

In respect of Bob’s wishes, his cremation services were private.

On Sunday, December 8^th. from 2:00 – 4:00PM, family and friends are invited to Bob’s memorial visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden. The family has asked that you please omit flowers and are requesting that as an alternative, you please make donations in Bob’s memory to our local food bank, L.I.N.C.S., 14 West Munsell Avenue, Linden, New Jersey 07036.

Bob, the son of the late Susan Chicarelli Skae and the late Edward Skae, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he resided until settling in Linden, New Jersey in 1992.

Bob worked as a dispatcher for the Linden Yellow Cab Company in Linden, New Jersey for fifteen years prior to his retirement eight years ago.

Bob’s spare time was spent watching the Carolina Panthers football team each season and collecting sports related trading cards.

Bob leaves behind the love of his life, Laura A. Mislan-Skae.  They spent thirty years together and were married on September 8, 2006. Bob is also survived by his daughter, Dominique Skae; his son, Anthony J. Mislan and his wife, Kelly Duffy-Mislan; his grandson, Shawn Duffy and his furball baby, Pumpkin, the cat.
