On Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 9:45AM, everyone will gather directly at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Linden where the funeral mass will be offered at 10:00AM. Richard, the son of the late Stephen S. Kielb and Carolyn F. (Rusiecki) Kielb, was born in Linden, New Jersey. Richard was employed with PSE&G as Team Manager in Seawaren, New Jersey for 25 years until his retirement in 1985.

Richard was a true “Lindenite”. He grew up in Linden and  married the love of his life Frances (Sinisi) Kielb and they raised their son Michael. They built a beautiful life together, surrounded by family. Richard loved anything that involved the outdoors in his younger years, especially hunting and fishing. Richard was a huge Mets fan when it came to baseball.  He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and playing cards and slots. He was known as an “Ace Card Player”.  Richard also proudly served our country honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and will be inducted into the Linden Hometown Heros this coming November.

Richard was predeceased by his parents, Stephen S. and Carolyn F. (Rusiecki) Kielb, the love of his life Frances A. (Sinisi) Kielb, his cherished son Michael R. Kielb, his brother Stephen S. Kielb Jr., his nephew Stephen Kielb, his niece Lisa Hoffman, and his sister-in-law Marge Kielb.. He is survived by his sister Lynne Kielb, his nephew, Richard T. Kielb and his wife Kerry and his niece Theresa Grzybowski and her husband Ed. He is also survived by his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie, Connor, Ethan, Nicholas, Halle, Kaylee, Gianna and Isabella, his great-great-niece, Alessia and his sisters-in-law Joan Sinisi.

Richard may be gone, but he will always be remembered as a loving husband and father. Frances and Michael welcomed Richard home with open arms and are together at last.
