Mrs. Reyes (Munoz Rios) Bonet, 86, died peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on December 25th, 2021.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation which will be held at Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden, NJ, 07036, on Monday, December 27th, 2021 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM, Tuesday, December 28th, 2021 from 2:00PM – 7:00PM, and Wednesday morning, Time TBD. During the visitation on Tuesday there will be a prayer service held at the funeral home. Following the morning visitation on Wednesday, Interment will be held at Rosedale Cemetery, 350 E. Linden Avenue, Linden,NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Bonet’s name be made to the charity of your choosing.
Mrs. Bonet, was the daughter of the late Nicolasa Rios and Juan Munoz, and was born in Aguada, Puerto Rico. She came to the mainland in January 1956 and lived in Elizabeth, NJ for fifteen years then moved to Rahway, NJ for thirty five years before retiring in Stewartsville, NJ.
Mrs. Bonet worked in various factories within the local area, among them Capitol Records. Roselle, NJ and the Hamilton Laundry, Rahway, NJ before retiring in 2000
Mrs. Bonet in her younger years in Puerto Rico had a talent for making and embroidering gloves. She loved to play cards and dominoes. She enjoyed her telenoveles, watching international soccer and the News in Spanish or English. Her family was important to her and she spent quality time with them always. And who can forget her love for dancing and singing.
Mrs. Bonet was predeceased by her husband, Aurelio (Delio) Bonet Sr., her brothers Antonio, Francesco, David and her sisters Maxmilliam and Carmen.
Mrs. Bonet is survived by her children, Anna, Aurelio (Tony) Jr and Daisy, her 5 grandchildren, Natalie, Felix III (wife Jessica),Nicole, Antonio and Nikos, her 9 great-grandchildren Alexander, Janessa, Sophia, Joseph, Santino, Liliana, Luna, Kayden and Alani, her 9 siblings, Miquel, Ventura, Victoria, Juan, Pablo, Luz Maria, Miquel Juan, Jose, Carmen Lynette and countless nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Although her light from our household is gone, she will remain a light in our hearts forever.
