Mrs. Regina F. Lipka Brzezicki, 93, died Thursday, February 20, 2020 in the Reno, Nevada home of her son and her daughter-in-law, Richard T. and Catherine M. Brzezicki, with whom she lived.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Thursday, March 12th. from 3:00-7:00PM. On Friday, March 13th. from 8:30-9:00AM, everyone will gather in the funeral home where a prayer service will be held at 9:00AM, followed by the funeral mass to be offered in the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus R.C. Church, Linden at 10:00AM. The prayers of committal will precede her entombment in the family crypt in Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Linden, New Jersey.

Mrs. Brzezicki, the daughter of the late Veronica Dembowski Lipka and the late Frank Lipka, was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She resided in Throop, Pennsylvania and Linden, New Jersey for forty-three years, after which she moved to Union Township in Hunterdon County, New Jersey where she remained for eleven years before settling in Reno, Nevada six and a half years ago.
Mrs. Brzezicki was an administrative and clerical assistant for the St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church Parish Office in Linden, New Jersey for twenty years, prior to her retirement in 1994.
Mrs. Brzezicki was a graduate of the class of 1944 of Battin High School in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
She was extremely active in her church community. Mrs. Brzezicki was a member of the St. Theresa’s School Mothers & Teachers Association, the St. Theresa’s Ladies Auxiliary, the St. Theresa’s Parish Picnic Committee and the General Pulaski Memorial Parade Committee of St. Theresa R.C. Church, all in Linden, New Jersey. Mrs. Brzezicki was also a Committeewoman for the Linden City Democratic Committee of the 6th. Ward, District 1, as well as, a member of the Union Township in Hunterdon County Senior Citizens Club and the AARP.
She was predeceased by her husband, Teofil Brzezicki (1971); her son, Thomas J. Brzezicki (2013); her two brothers, Benjamin Lipka and John Lipka and her nephew, Michael Lipka.
Mrs. Brzezicki is survived by her two sons, Richard T. Brzezicki and his wife, Catherine M. and Paul Brzezicki and his wife, Leticia; her eight grandchildren, Stephanie Brzezicki-Rojas and her husband, Luis, Jennifer Wagner and her husband, Will, Theresa Brzezicki, Bianca Brzezicki, Leah Brzezicki, Jonathan Brzezicki, Alicia Brzezicki and Christine Urbanczyk and her husband, Adam; her four great grandchildren, John, Alyssa, Olivia and Christian; her two nieces, Nancy Lipka and Maryann Pell and her nephew, Robert Lipka.
