Mrs. Rachel J. Crooks Wode, 78, died Sunday, April 19, 2020 in the Cranford Park Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Cranford New Jersey.
Mrs. Wode, the daughter of the late Marie J. Ferretti Crooks and the late William John Crooks, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She lived in Linden, New Jersey for most of her life, followed by a residence in Rahway, New Jersey for ten years, before settling in Cranford, New Jersey two years ago.
Mrs. Wode had been an assembler for many years at Park Plastics in Linden, prior to her retirement.
She loved to spend time with her sisters, especially when they could get together for a cruise.
Predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Wode, Sr. on December 31, 1997, Mrs. Wode is survived by her four sisters, Mildred Crooks, Marie Crooks, Roxanne “Rocky” Kwiatek and Joyce Crooks.
Due to the COV-19 federal and state restrictions on public gatherings, all funeral services will be private. That privacy will also extend to the prayers of committal, as well as, Mrs. Wode’s burial in the family plot in Clover Leaf Park Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey.
