Mr. Paulo J.C. Seabra, 50, died Saturday, August 22, 2020 in the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, New York.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation which will be held in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Wednesday, August 26th. from 5:00-8:00PM. On Thursday, August 27th. between 8:45-9:00AM, everyone will meet directly at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church, 403 Spring Street, Elizabeth, where a funeral mass will be offered at 9:00AM. The prayers of committal will precede his entombment in the family crypt in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
Paulo, the son of Maria Fernanda Correia Seabra and the late Antonio Gouveia Seabra (1993) was born in Vila Nova De Tazem, Guarda, Portugal. Paulo came to this county in 1971 and he has resided in Carteret, New Jersey for over thirty years.
Paulo was a warehouseman and checker for the East Coast Warehouse in Elizabeth, New Jersey for the past sixteen years.
He had quite a few interests that kept him remarkably busy in his spare time. Paulo enjoyed power boating and saltwater fishing, along with riding and admiring all types of motorcycles. Everyone in his family knew that Paulo thoroughly enjoyed formidable and fast automobiles. Paulo felt that the Ford Mustang was the most admired and coveted vehicle by car aficionados.
In addition to his mother, Paulo is survived by his four siblings, Jose Seabra and his wife, Maria Elena Nunez Seabra, Ana Seabra Pereira and her husband, Antonio Pereira, Fernanda Seabra Ramos and her husband, Alvaro Ramos and Antonio Seabra; his five nieces and nephews, Steven Ramos and his wife, Katherine Garcia-Ramos, Sara Seabra, Anthony Pereira, Jason Ramos and Ashley Pereira; his great nephew, Sebastian Ramos and his many friends, neighbors and co-workers.
As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of fifty (50) people allowed in the funeral home at one time. Face protection is also required as per state regulations. We thank you for your understanding during this time of transition.
