Paul, the son of the late Gertrude Berndt Ladinski and the late Peter P. Ladinski, was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and he lived most of his life in Linden, New Jersey.

Paul had a thirty-year career as a real estate broker for Wm. G. Palermo Insurance and Real Estate Agency in Linden until his retirement in 2016.

Paul was well known as the “Landmark Condo Cop”, as he thoroughly enjoyed making sure everyone followed the rules, even to the extent of pointing out the error of their ways to those who bent or broke them.  He enjoyed working with the building vendors, bringing water to the building landscapers, especially in the summer heat, feeding the birds and trapping and releasing the squirrels that could create havoc around the building.  It got so comical that many thought it was the same squirrel that got trapped, taken for a car ride, release into the parks and then somehow found his way back to the building.  When Paul took a break from patrolling the condo, he liked to go camping with the trailer and spending some quality time outdoors with Mother Nature.  On a day-to-day basis, the Fox news channel was blasting in his condo from morning to night.  Paul also had a knack for cooking and made sure to enjoy whatever feast he put together with some of his favorite beverages, Yeungling beer or blackberry brandy.

Paul was predeceased by his two brothers, Peter Ladinski and Ronald Schlutz and his sister, Barbara Arcure.

Paul is survived by his wife, Catherine “Cathy” A. Collins Klingaman.  Theirs is a love story, 18 years together of driving each other crazy, living in separate condos, but going back and forth between them to be with each other, and looking out for each other.  Everyone who knows their history and their wacky relationship can only laugh and shake their heads at how, despite the odds, it simply worked.  They genuinely loved each other deeply, but just could not live together.

Paul also leaves behind his son, Justin Ladinski and his wife, Christina; his daughter, Sarah Jane Ladinski; his two stepsons, Christopher Klingaman and Kevin Klingaman; his brother, Mark Ladinski; his three sisters, Paula Ladinski, who actually is Paul’s twin, Madeline Ladinski and Dolores Balitzki; his two grandchildren, Jacob Paul Ladinski and Alessandro Klingaman; several nephews and numerous friends and neighbors.

Paul was a one-of-a-kind man, who lived his life by his own terms.  When you really knew him, you understood how he loved and was loved by those in return.  Paul will be truly missed…..even by that dastardly squirrel!
