Mr. Moises Heriberto Trivino, 77, entered the arms of the Lord surrounded by His heavenly angels on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Thursday, December 5th from 5:00-7:00PM. On Friday, December 6th there will be an additional visitation from 10:00-10:30AM, followed by our final farewells. The prayers of the committal will precede Moises’s burial in the family plot in Rosedale Cemetery in Linden.
Moises, the son of the late Otilda Trivino and the late Horacio Trivino, was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador. He came to the United States in 1985, settling in Brooklyn, New York before relocating to Linden, New Jersey twenty years ago.
Moises, an extremely dedicated, hard worker, was an asbestos abatement specialist, employed by Union Locals in New York City for over twenty years before enjoying his well-deserved retirement in 2012. A quiet man by nature, Moises enjoyed watching his favorite sport – soccer, especially the World Cup. Of course, Moises’s favorite team was the Barcelona Soccer Club from Ecuador. However, the greatest joy in Moises’s life came from spending time with his family and grandchildren. It didn’t matter if it was a grand celebration of the holidays, a joyous party or some quiet moments in the backyard, chasing after the laughing grandkids. Moises’ heart skipped a beat, his eyes were brightly shining & his smile was a mile wide whenever he was with the loves of his life – his family.
Moises is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Ana Maria Hinostroza Trivino; his three daughters, Glenda Heredia and her husband Guido, Katty Harper and her husband, Shannon and Jennifer Trivino and her husband, William; his five siblings, Irma Naranjo, Fanny Game, William Trivino, Reyna Lorenzo and Martha Garcia; his nine grandchildren, Guido Heredia, Glenda Pimenta, Gisselle Dal Bo, Garry Heredia, Glenn Heredia, Kevin Morales, Max Harper, Ashley Trivino and Xavier Trivino; his great grandchild, Leonardo Dal Bo and Moises’s many neighbors and friends.
Moises was the center of life for his family, and he had an abundance of love for everyone in his circle. He will be deeply missed, but he will never be forgotten.
