Mr. Klebert Pierre, 75, of Pembroke Pines, Florida entered the heavenly kingdom on Friday, August 2, 2024, surrounded by unconditional love.
On Wednesday, August 21st. at 11:45AM, family and friends are invited to meet directly at the gravesite in Rosehill Cemetery, Linden, New Jersey to take part in the prayers of committal at 12:00Noon which will precede Mr. Pierre’s burial in the family plot.
Klebert, the son of the late Emma Jean Baptiste and the late Jean Pierre was born in Haiti, and he came to the United States in 1973, living in Brooklyn, New York before settling in Florida in 2018.
While in the United States, Klebert earned an associate’s degree from Kingsborough Community College in New York. From there Klebert became the successful owner and operator of the Enelra Cab Corp., in Brooklyn, New York for over twenty years before enjoying his retirement in 2008.
An avid traveler, Klebert visited a host of countries throughout Europe, including Spain and France and made sure that he enjoyed all the islands of the entire Caribbean such as Aruba, Dominican Republic and St. Martin. Even within the United States, Kebert was fortunate enough to explore, along with his family, all fifty states. Never one to stop his learning process, Klebert spoke a variety of languages, including Creole, English, French and a bit of Spanish. He was an excellent mathematician and in his spare time, when most of us would just relax in front of the television, Klebert found inner peace working on calculus problems. The good weather brought Klebert outdoors, working in his extensive garden where he would grow a bounty of vegetables, such as asparagus, tomatoes and even berries of all kinds. He loved to cook and it brough him great joy to simply feed everyone, especially for the holidays. On New Years Eve, Klebert would create a soup called jou mou that put him on the level of a “top chef” and no one ever left his house hungry, no matter the multitude of people visiting. Klebert, whether in his professional or personal life, was simply a hard worker, who loved his family, especially his grandkids; Klebert’s entire being lit up whenever he was with them. Life was all about family for Klebert.
Kebert leaves behind the broken hearts of his two sons, Kevin Pierre and Irvin Pierre; his daughter, Shirley White; his four grandchildren, Joshua Pierre, Ilyse Pierre, Messiah Pierre and Aleeya White; Klebert many friends that he considered “extended family” and a host of neighbors.
Klebert was an exceptional man who brought love and joy to anyone who entered his circle. He truly was one in a million! Klebert will be deeply missed, but his family will make sure that he will never be forgotten.
