Kazimierz Czulowski

Kazimierz Czulowski, 63, of Colonia, passed away in his home on August 28th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time. 

Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Wednesday, August 31st  from 5:00-8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, located at 600 Myrtle Street, Elizabeth, NJ, 07202 on Thursday September 1st, 2022 at 11:00AM. In respect to his family’s wishes, Kazimierz’s cremation will be private.

Kazimierz, better known as Kaz, was born on December 20, 1958 in Krakow, Poland, to parents Kazimierz and Zofia Czulowski/a. Kaz and his wife Anna emigrated to the United States on June 7th, 1982, and lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for about 4 years before settling in New Jersey, where they remained and raised their family together. Kaz worked around cars all his life. When he came to the United States, he worked as a mechanic, and eventually transitioned to car sales, and finally the financial management end of auto sales before retiring.

Kaz loved relaxing on his sofa and spending time at home with his family. There are fond memories from his children of “watching squirrels,” which included some yelling at them as well, and of course, striking deals and bargaining in various scenarios, especially with vehicles. Many memories were also made with his grandson too, doing science projects and magic tricks. He was a fan of the outdoors in his younger years, doing many activities with his wife in nature. Kaz also enjoyed gardening and fishing, and was a fond lover of dogs, and was pretty good at training them as well. Most importantly though, Kaz enjoyed time with his family, and was known as the guy that always came through when people counted on him. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Kaz is predeceased by his parents Kazimierz Czulowski and Zofia Czulowska. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Anna (Jarzab) Czulowski, his 3 children, Phillip Czulowski and his wife Nicole, Eric Czulowski, and Julia Czulowski, his grandson Toren, his brother Andrzej Czulowski and his wife Kasia, his brother-in-law Andrzej Jarzab and his wife Dorotka, and his niece and nephews, Krzys, Pawel, Eva, and Peter.

Although he was gone too soon, Kaz was loved for a lifetime.
