Joseph F Slugai

Mr. Joseph F. Slugai, 84, entered the Eternal Kingdom on Thursday, June 11, 2026.

Joe, the son of the late Veronica Meduna Slugai and the late Frank Slugai, was born in Linden, New Jersey and he remained a lifelong resident of the city.

Joe, a very hard worker, had a varied career as a maintenance man with many local companies throughout his lifetime until finally taking and enjoying his well-deserved retirement.

A friendly man, Joe was known to one and all throughout the neighborhood.  He enjoyed his multiple daily strolls walking the many beloved dogs he had over the years. He would often stop to chat and everyone would constantly remark how beautiful and well-mannered his dog was.  

Sadly, Joe was predeceased by his beloved wife Frances D. Slugai on March 5, 2017.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

The visitation, prayer services and the burial in the family plot will be private for the family only. 

We are thankful that Joe’s long wait to be reunited with his wife has now come to a conclusion and they are joyfully together again.  May they both have Eternal Rest.
