Jorge Juan Diaz

Mr. Jorge Juan Diaz, 96, died Tuesday, April 14, 2020 in the Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division, Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Mr. Diaz, the son of the late Celia Bringas Diaz and the late Segundo Diaz, was born in Trujillo, Peru.  He came to the United States and New Jersey in 1988.  Mr. Diaz resided in Carteret, New Jersey from 2005 until approximately a year ago, when he moved to Perth Amboy, New Jersey

Mr. Diaz had been an insurance agent for almost thirty years, employed by Popular y Por Venir in Lima Peru, prior to his retirement during the 1980’s.

Mr. Diaz is survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Nelly Flores Diaz; his two sons, Jorge Alberto Diaz and his wife, Maritza and Eduardo Javier Diaz and his wife, Vera; his four grandchildren, Cesar Diaz, Celia Diaz, twins, Richard and Kaitlyn Diaz and his great grandchild, Joy Diaz.

Due to the COV-19 federal and state restrictions on public gatherings, all funeral services will be private.  That privacy will also extend to the prayers of committal offered by the Reverend James McGuffey of St. Joseph Parish of Carteret, as well as, Mr. Diaz’s burial in the family lawn crypt in the Alpine Cemetery in Perth Amboy, New Jersey.
