Jennifer Rosa Obituary

Ms. Jennifer A. Rosa, 43, died unexpectedly on Friday, September 3, 2021, in her home.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Friday, September 10th. from 1:00-3:00PM where there will be a prayer service and a sharing of memories during the visitation.  The cremation in Rosehill Crematory in Linden, will be private.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family to assist them in their time of need,

Jennifer, the daughter of the late Carmen Martinez and the late Jesús Rosa, was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico.  She came to the mainland United States in 1984 and Jennifer lived in a few places before settling in East Windsor, New Jersey five years ago.

Jennifer was a fashion aficionado and very much a girly girl.  She loved to shop, wear and experiment with makeup and get all dressed up.  It was usually at this point that she would indulge in another one of her hobbies - taking selfies.  Music was also a part of Jennifer’s life and she followed the beat of free style music, R & B and even Hip Hop.  In her free time she loved to visit the beach and spend time in the sunshine, sand, and water.  Eating, whether it be dining out or eating in, was a favorite ritual for her .  Jennifer thoroughly enjoyed a good meal and especially if it was Spanish or Latin food.  Her home was her castle.  Jennifer was known to decorate for every holiday, even the minor ones and she always had flowers on the table.  The most important trait of Jennifer’s was her love of family that was reinforced by wanting to spend time with both her family and friends.  She was sweet and caring and had a very generous nature.  You never left Jennifer’s home emptyhanded.  She was constantly giving you food or small tokens of her love.

Jennifer is survived by her three children, Naomi Rosa, Jaime Torres and Maladiez Padilla; her three brothers, Jesús  Rosa, John Rosa and Hector Martinez; her grandson, Alexis Valeriano and her companion, Aury Concepcion.
