Jeanine Sarno Obituary

Jeanine Sarno, 31, of Linden, NJ, unexpectedly gained her angel’s wings on October 25th, 2024, leaving behind many that cared for and loved her, whose hearts will never be the same.

We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Friday, November 1st from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.  Prayers will take place during the visitation time, and final farewells shortly before 8:00PM.  The cremation in Rosehill Crematory, Linden, will be private.

Jeanine was born on August 23rd, 1993 to parents Thomas and Maria E. (Torres) Sarno in Rahway, New Jersey. She spent her younger years in the Union County area of New Jersey, attending Union High School in the Class of 2011. In 2012, Jeanine attended the Capri Institute in Kenilworth, NJ for her cosmetology license. She always loved doing makeup and was a true artist in her field. Fashion was second nature to Jeanine, as she always had her long hair done nice, her nails on point, and her outfits stylish. She was also artistic when it came to her tattoos as well.

Some would call Jeanine a “tough cookie,” but she truly had a heart of gold. She was a kindhearted and caring person to not only her many family members, but friends as well. Everybody loved her, and she would always keep in touch whether it was through text or facetime. Jeanine also loved to make short Tiktok videos which gave insight into her world. She liked to travel too, going places such as India, the Bahamas, and vacation spots in the U.S. Above all, Jeanine cared very dearly for her family, which was one of the most important things in her life.  She will be truly missed and never forgotten.

Jeanine is predeceased by her father Thomas Sarno, her grandparents Luis A. Torres, Louis Sarno, and Jean “Ma” Sarno, her aunt Maria A. Torres, her uncle Manuel Torres, and her mother's boyfriend Carlos Ramos. She is survived by her loving mother Maria E. Sarno, her grandmother Maria D.
