Jean, the daughter of the late Maryann Piegdon Marcinkowski and the late Stanley Marcinkowski, was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey and she later moved to Linden, New Jersey where she has lived for over fifty years.

Jean had many interests that filled her life.  She loved to watch all kinds of television games shows, like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  Jean could rack them up and play a mean game of pool & she even taught two of her nephews how to play.  She was crazy about “Gameboy” and would engage in the electronic game for hours on end,  Jean also took to the hardwoods with her bowling prowess and for a way to keep her mind sharp, she enjoyed doing crossword puzzles of all kinds.  However, even with all of this, Jean was well known as a lady who actively volunteered in the Linden Senior Housing complex, and she would certainly help others in any way that she could, whenever she was called upon.  You could always count on Jean!

She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Marcinkowski; her sister, Marlene Marcinkowski and her nephew, David Marcinkowski.

Jean is survived by her sister, Irene D’Arelli; her brother, Robert Marcinkowski and his wife, Martha; her nieces and nephews, Carol Lauch, Guy Marcinkowski, Laura Marcinkoski, Sandra Marcinkowski, Justin Marcinkowski, Jason Karnbad, Keri Romanini, Liza Pavlock and her husband, Christopher, Melissa D’Arelli and Anthony D’Arelli and her great nieces and great nephews, Winter Lauch, Madison Lauch, Connor Lauch, Adriana Romanini, Mason Romanini, Zoe Marcinkowski, Kaitlyn Pavlock and Cassidy Pavlock.

Jean was a beloved sister, aunt, and great aunt, who loved everyone in her family and enjoyed spending time with them, no matter what the occasion.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
