Mr. James W. Fedors, 75, entered the gates of heaven and met up with all the animals at the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Tuesday, January 28th. from 9:00-11:00AM. At the conclusion of the visitation, there will be a prayer service in the funeral home, followed by the prayers of committal which will precede James’s burial in the family plot in Rosedale Cemetery in Linden. In lieu of flowers, donations in James’s memory may be made by mail to Tabby’s Place: A Cat Sanctuary, 1100 US-202, Ringoes, NJ 08551 or online at http://www.tabbysplace.org
James, the son of the late Anna Filmonchik Fedors (1984) and the late John Fedors (1995) was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and he was a lifelong Linden resident.
A proud 1971 graduate of Kean University, James earned a Bachelor of Arts in History.
He spent his career working for the Pathmark Supermarket in Linden, starting as a cashier.
James was an enormous lover of animals and in his heart, he would adopt and care for all those in need, if he could. In his earlier years, he devoted a large part of his free time volunteering for the Friends of the Linden Animal Shelter. In conjunction with his love of history, James was also a past member of the Robert E. Lee Civil War Roundtable in Woodbridge.
Predeceased by his devoted parents, James is survived by his brother, Robert M. Fedors, and a wonderful inner circle of friends.
James was a man who had a kind soul and a heart of gold. As he reunites with his mom and dad, may they all be in our prayers as they rest in eternal peace.
