Issis Haroun

Issis Haroun, 77, of Jersey City, NJ, passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at her daughter’s home in West Caldwell.

Friends and family can begin to gather at Rosehill Cemetery, 792 E. Edgar Road, Linden, NJ, 07036 at approximately 12:15PM on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2022 near the office building by the main entrance. The committal service will take place at approximately 12:30PM followed by the interment.

Issis was born in Shoba, Egypt, and eventually immigrated to the United States where she raised three wonderful daughters. As years passed Issis enjoyed relaxing at home and taking care of her family, which meant everything to her, even when they would “butt heads” over things. She always honored her father and mother, and her sisters. She was the epitome of a woman dedicated to caring for her family, and all of her love went to them.

Issis is survived by her three daughters, Mary Daoud and her husband Rami, Irene Haroun and her husband Nick Ioakimidis, and Kim Haroun, her three grandchildren Daniella, Sebastian, and Athena, and many other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
