Irena Krynska Obituary

Mrs. Irena Agnieszka Kanicka Krynska, 83, died Friday, April 8, 2022, surrounded by the caring love of her family.

Mrs. Krynska, the daughter of the late Genowefa Cimochowska Kanicka and the late Julian Kanicki, was born in Wilamowo, Poland and she came to the United States in April of 2011, settling immediately in Linden, New Jersey.

While living in Poland, Mrs. Krynska, at the age of 18, became a teacher of kindergarten age children.  She taught for over thirty-five years during which time Mrs. Krynska attained the role of school principal.  Enjoying her retirement her in the United States, Mrs. Krynska could always be found cooking for her family, whether it was a special holiday or just an everyday meal around the kitchen table.  She kept her mind sharp and active by doing crossword puzzles of all kinds.  However the most important aspect of Mrs. Krynska’s day was any time spent with her family.  Nothing gave her greater joy!

Predeceased by her husband, Mieczyslaw Krynski on April 4, 2001, Mrs. Krynska is survived by her daughter with whom she made her home, Bozena Krynska-Sakowicz and her husband, Jaroslaw; her son, Antoni Cezary Krynski; her siblings, Czeslaw, Helena and Danuta; her four grandchildren and her four great grandchildren.

In accordance with Mrs. Krynska’s wishes, she will be buried in the family plot in Bialystok, Poland, alongside her husband.

Mrs. Krynska was the heart of her family, and they are devastated at this loss.  Thank you to all the family, friends, and neighbors for the outpouring of your prayers, love and support that have been given to the family.  It is greatly appreciated.
