Mrs. Helena Burry Diehl, 95, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in the Alaris Health at Riverton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rahway, New Jersey.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Tuesday, May 4th. from 10:00 to 11:00AM. At the conclusion of the visitation, there will be a prayer service conducted in the funeral home by the Reverend Alexander T. Cruz, pastor of Divine Mercy Parish of Rahway. The prayers of committal will precede her burial in the family plot in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
Mrs. Diehl, the daughter of the late Margaret Zdaldowska Burry and the late Joseph Burry, was born in Newark, New Jersey. She resided in Roselle Park, New Jersey from 1969 until December of 2018, when she moved to Rahway, New Jersey.
Mrs. Diehl was a former member of the St. Joseph the Carpenter Roman Catholic Church of Roselle.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles L. Diehl on April 9, 2003.
Mrs. Diehl is survived by her niece, Sandra Krutzler; her great niece, Diane Krutzler; her great nephew, Michael Krutzler and her great-great nephew, Brandon Krutzler.
As per the regulations imposed through the State of New Jersey, there will now be a maximum of one hundred and fifty people allowed in the funeral home at one time and face protection is advised. We thank you for your understanding during this time of transition.
