Betty, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Margaret Roth Cash and the late John Vincent Cash, was born and raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was a “Jersey Girl’ through and through and she resided here until settling in Loganville, Georgia eight years ago.
Betty had a long career as a secretary for the Elizabethtown Water Company in Elizabeth and after many years, Betty chose early retirement to care for her aging Mom.
Betty’s interest covered a wide assortment of entertaining activities. She loved going to dinner and a show and Betty was a season ticket holder to a variety of playhouses in the Elizabeth area, as well as later in Loganville, Georgia. Her home was adorned with Betty’s ever-expanding collection of Swarovski figurines and P. Buckley Moss prints. However, Betty truly got the greatest kick out of simply spending an evening of spirited conversation and fellowship with her family and friends.
Betty is survived by her five nieces and nephews, Sharon Manting and her husband, Mitchel, Laura Ciemniecki, Bruce Ciemniecki and his wife, Sarah, Scott Ciemniecki and his wife, Shawn and Kip Ciemniecki; her ten great nieces and nephews; her nine great-great nieces and nephews and her numerous cousins, other relatives and her many friends.
Betty’s life was full and filled with those people who loved her as much as she loved them. She will be deeply missed, but Betty will never be forgotten. May she rest in eternal peace as Betty is once again reunited with her Mom and Dad in the kingdom of the Lord.
