Donald, the son of the late Helen M. Zacharczyk Zliceski and the late Walter T. Zliceski, Sr., was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He resided in Clark, New Jersey for many years prior to settling in Scotch Plains thirty years ago.
Donald was employed as a stock clerk, working first for Foodtown in Clark for twenty-seven years, followed by a fifteen-year work experience for A & P Supermarket in Fanwood, until his retirement fifteen years ago.
In his leisure time, Donald like to surf the internet, visiting sites such a Ebay and really using it as a tool for the social aspects it offered. He had a real affinity for hot rod cars in his younger days and he enjoyed visiting places along the Jersey shore, especially Atlantic City. On the television, Donald was a fan of “The Young & The Restless” soap opera for many years. Truly Donald simply enjoyed being with his family, especially the younger children. He got such a kick out their individual personalities and the characters they became, including even their antics, as they were growing up.
Donald is survived by his brother, Walter T. Zliceski, Jr. and his wife, Marietta; his sister, Barbara Jelagin and her husband, Victor; his five nieces and nephews; his eleven great-nieces and great nephews and his companion, Alma Lapsley.
