Diana Muldrow Obituary

Ms. Diana H. Troia Muldrow, 77, entered the Gates of Heaven escorted by the Lord’s choir of angels on Saturday, March 28, 2026.

We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.

Family and friends are invited to the memorial visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Friday, April 24th. from 10:00AM to 12:00 Noon.  A prayer service will be offered in the funeral  home by Reverend Arlou Buslon, Pastor of St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, Linden at 11:00AM.  At the conclusion of the memorial visitation we will form the traditional funeral procession to Rosedale Cemetery where the burial of Diana’s cremated remains will take place in the family plot at 12:30PM.  The cremation in Rosehill Crematory in Linden was private.

Diana was the daughter of the late Bernice Vann Troia (2010) and the late Joseph A. Troia (2003).  She lived in a variety of places, but Diana settled in Linden, New Jersey in1993 where she resided until the time of her death.

Diana had a long career at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, where she was the business administrator for the Center for Pre-College Programs.  This was such a fitting role for Diana because one of her main focus’s was to help young people find their direction in life and prepare for it through their educational pursuits.

In her down time, Diana was a wiz in the kitchen….she was an excellent cook and no matter what she whipped up, it was delicious.  She was also a great baker, and her cakes and brownies were the talk of the neighborhood for their mouthwatering flavors and tastiness.  Diana was very much a voracious reader; her mind was like a sponge often soaking up so many things that her friends call her the “Master of Trivia”.  This also led to her love of traveling so she could visit all the places that she had read about and bring those experiences to life and make memories to hold for years.  Her relaxation consisted of her books, watching movies, mostly the classics, and keeping up with all the true crime television shows.  However, it must be said that most of Diana’s life was spent in her devotion to her late daughter, Elyse M. Williams, who passed away in 2004.  Diana’s love, commitment and care for her special angel, Elyse was beyond descriptive words; Diana just loved her without limits.

Having lost both her parents and her daughter, Diana kept her world going with the help of her former spouse, Isaac “Ike” J. Muldrow, who was a constant part of Diana’s foundation of life.  Ike was often there to provide not only companionship but also to help care for and support Diana.  She knew she could count on Ike to be there for her through the shining moments of her life as well as her darkest heartaches.  In addition to Isaac, Diana is also survived by her former neighbors, Bob and Anna Lacko, her former co-workers, especially Gwen, and Diana’s neighbors and friends.

Diana inner circle may have been small, but she was loving and loyal to all those whose lives intersected with hers.  May she now find infinite happiness as she is reunited with her mom, dad and especially her daughter, Elyse.  We know they were waiting to greet her with open arms as the family is now reunited.  Diana will certainly be missed, but she will never be forgotten.  May Diana’s life long journey now conclude with Eternal Rest with her Lord and Savior.
