We respectfully request that no one arrive at the funeral home prior to the posted visitation times, so as not to intrude on the family’s private time.
Family and friends are invited to the visitation in the Kowalski Funeral Home, 515 Roselle Street, Linden on Friday, May 26th. from 11:00AM-1:00PM. The prayer service and the sharing of memories will begin in the funeral home at 12:00Noon. At the conclusion of the visitation, the prayers of committal will be offered in the chapel at Rosehill Crematory in Linden at 2:00PM.
Daniel was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and he spent most of his youth, as well as his adult life, in the Roselle and Linden area.
Throughout his work career, Daniel tried his hand at many things, and most recently he was employed as a stock clerk at the ShopRite in Woodbridge while also working in security for various nightclubs in the area.
In his free time, Daniel fancied working on cars and tinkering with their engines and he would regularly fix the vehicles of many of his family, friends, and neighbors. Daniel’s soul was filled with the joy of music, and he loved to sing and rap. Video game playing was also a part of his relaxation. However, if you asked anyone who knew Daniel, they would tell you that Daniel was a people person, who would help anyone and everyone with whatever they needed. Quite a legacy!
Predeceased by his brother, Xavier Swinton, Daniel is survived by his mother and father, Maryellen Ross Swinton and Daniel Swinton, Sr.; his five children, Kheira Bethea, Ayeisha Forbes, Hasseema Swinton, Hasseem Clark and Zreyah Palin; his brother, Jimmy Swinton and his wife, Rolanda; his sister, Patrulla Swinton; his four grandchildren and his numerous nieces and nephews.
The Swinton family has been dealt another blow with this unexpected loss of Daniel. Understandably their spirits are broken, and their thoughts are heavy, but Daniel will forever remain in their hearts surrounded by their love.
